Jeremy Goldstein is hosting a wine dinner, an event that is scheduled for the third week of May, on behalf of Fountain House. The dinner will be held on the Roofdeck at the Nomad Hotel on May 22. The venue is located in Manhattan. The event will include a gourmet meal and an exquisite selection of several of the finest vintages.
The ticket price for the wine dinner is $5,000. All of the net proceeds will go directly to benefit the efforts of the staff of Fountain House. The featured wines have been chosen from the La Mouline, La Turque by E. Guigal collection, and La Landonne vineyards. Jeremy Goldstein, a New York attorney, is on the board of the charitable organization. It was founded to help those who are living with mental illness.
The organization began as a small group of people who met while they were undergoing treatment for mental health. The founders were patients at a state hospital in Rockland County, New York. It was started in the 1940s. A few years later, the group purchased a building on Manhattan’s west side, and there was a fountain on the property which prompted the name Fountain House.
The organization assists men and women not only in NYC, but they also help in the recovery process of individuals across the country. The group also aids people who are coping with mental illness with housing and jobs. Jeremy Goldstein has previously hosted several of the wine dinner benefits, and each event was a huge success.
